We advise businesses from the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) on commercial and corporate law, providing comprehensive support at every stage of their operations – from day-to-day business activities, through restructuring projects, to complex M&A transactions.

Another key area of our practice is advising on commercial contracts, with a particular focus on sales agreements and distribution agreements. We have extensive experience in international commercial law, including the application of the CISG and the New York Convention on the Limitation Period in the International Sale of Goods.

We also actively support Polish companies in their expansion into the DACH markets, offering practical, business-oriented advice that takes into account local regulatory frameworks and market conditions. We cooperate with a network of trusted specialists in the DACH region, which provides our clients with access to reliable support from local advisors, efficient coordination of cross-border activities, and greater security and effectiveness in conducting business in German-speaking markets.

The German Desk is headed by Dr Joanna Schubel, who holds a PhD in law from Heidelberg University. She is the author of academic publications in German and has many years of experience advising international corporations and mid-sized companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

As part of our corporate practice, our clients are offered with support in the incorporation and liquidation of companies, preparation of corporate documents (company contracts, resolutions, minutes, bylaws, etc.), provide ongoing support to clients’ corporate bodies and shareholders in the enforcement of their rights, as well as support them in the negotiation of commercial contracts and in the restructuring processes of companies and capital groups, i.e. mergers, demergers, conversions and any other companies reorganization.
